Shiksha Academy started with one teacher and one subject. Today it's a full academic home for students from Std 1st to CA Foundation — but the classroom-first spirit hasn't changed.
Shiksha Academy was founded in 2019 by Prem Marathe Sir, a Mathematics specialist for Std 9th and above, out of a simple belief: students learn best from teachers who deeply specialise in what they teach, not from classes that try to cover everything with generalists.
Prem Sir himself is a lifelong student of learning — he holds a B.Com and M.Com, has qualified SET, is a CA Finalist, a practising Lawyer, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. That same discipline and depth is what he expects the academy's teaching to reflect, at every level from Std 1st to CA Foundation.
That belief shaped how the academy grew. Instead of hiring one teacher per class, Shiksha Academy built a small, focused team — each faculty member responsible for the subjects they know inside-out. Over time, this grew from board-exam coaching into a complete academic ladder: Primary Wing, Middle School, Board Wing, Junior College Commerce, and now support for BCom, BBA and CA Foundation students.
Based in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, the academy today serves families who want their children to stay with one trusted institution through every stage of school and early college life.
